Purpose: The Baltimore Schweitzer Fellows Program is a yearlong fellowship program open to all Baltimore area students enrolled in a degree program in health and human service fields. Fellows work with existing community agencies and carry out service projects of at least 200 hours that address unmet needs of underserved communities. Focus: Animal/Veterinary Sciences; Dental Health/Services; Food Science/Nutrition; Health Administration; Health and Medical Sciences; Health Information Management/Technology; Law/Legal Services; Nursing; Music; Social Services; Education; Therapy/Rehabilitation Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. Boston Schweitzer Fellows Program

Purpose: The Boston Schweitzer Fellows Program offers year-long community service fellowships to students enrolled in health-related degree programs. Fellows carry out health related projects of at least 200 hours in collaboration with a local community agency, attend an orientation and monthly meetings, and help organize public symposia on health. Lambarene Schweitzer Fellows Program

Purpose: Each year, the Lambarene Schweitzer Fellows Program selects four New England medical students who are fluent in French to spend three months working at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambarene, Gabon as junior physicians in pediatrics, surgery, or internal medicine.
