Daimler Chrysler Scholarship Program

(University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Student must be graduating from final high school year and be enrolling in first year of a three-to four-year degree program. Twelve students are chosen based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and community service. Once in the program they could be eligible for four awards as long as a "B" average is maintained on a full workload. Open to Canadian citizens who are dependents of employees of Daimler Chrysler Canada, Inc. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to Canadian citizens. Student must be affiliated with Daimler Chrysler Canada, Inc.

Syncrude Higher Education Education Awards Program

(Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Awarded to Canadian students enrolled in a program that involves a minimum of two years full-time study. Students could qualify for four awards at the undergraduate level and two years at the graduate or professional level as long as they are under 25 years of age. Awards may be held at the community college level for a maximum of two years. Must be a dependent of a Syncrude Canada, Inc., employee. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 24 or younger , full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to Canadian citizens. Student must be affiliated with Syncrude Canada, Inc.
