Academy of Television Arts and Sciences College Television Awards

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Prize)

Purpose: The College Television Awards competition recognizes excellence in college student film or video productions by honoring student producers of films or videos produced for college course credit. The academy gives 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in the following categories: comedy, drama, music programs, documentary, newscasts, children's programs, traditional animation, and non-traditional animation. Submit film or video on 1/2 inch VHS or Beta SP tape. Entry forms available September-December. Focus: Journalism; Communications; TV/Radio Broadcasting; Photojournalism/Photography; Performing Arts; Arts; Filmmaking/Video Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
