    doodle was just like the scarlet ibis because the bird was suffering just like that bird. but doodle can do more things but had to be careful but he was to weak

    well in the story they said that the scarlet ibis it says that the scarlet ibis had flown a looonnnnggg way and it had trouble serviving in the place where he was at because he wasnt home so think of that bird as doodle. doodle has trouble surviving in the place that he lives and when doodle dies his whole body changes just like the bird. and the bird looked delecate when he died and so did doodle

    There death was simailer. They were both weak, and delacate, and the position they were in when they died..
