Once you have considered your position on the topic and thought of several examples to support it, you are ready to begin writing.

Organizing Your Essay
Decide how many paragraphs you will write. In a 25-minute exercise, you will probably have time for no more than four or five paragraphs. In such a format, the first paragraph will be the introduction, the next two or three will develop your thesis with specific examples, and the final paragraph should be a strong conclusion.
