Make sure to leave yourself enough time at the end to read over your essay for errors such as misspellings, omitted words, or incorrect punctuation. You will not have enough time to make large-scale revisions, but take this chance to make any small changes that will make your essay stronger. Consider the following when proofreading your work:
• Are all your sentences really sentences? Have you written any fragments or run-on sentences?
• Are you using vocabulary correctly?
• Did you leave out any punctuation? Did you capitalize correctly?
