SAT Prep | Points to Remember

• Like other verbal sections of the test, Sentence Completions can be divided into three basic levels of difficulty, and, as a general rule, SAT verbal exercises increase in difficulty as they progress through a section.

• Level I exercises allow you to rely on your instincts and common sense. You should not be obsessed with analysis or second-guessing in Level I problems.

• In Level II questions, the SAT often presents words that appear easy at first glance but that may have secondary meanings. Be wary of blindly following your gut reactions and common sense.
