SAT Prep | Dealing with Neutral Value Words

There is another category of word values that will help you determine the correct answer in a Sentence Completion problem. These are neutral word values. Neutral words are words that convey neither loss nor gain, advantage nor disadvantage. Consider the previous example, once again:

Reminding his students that planning ahead would protect them from _____, Mr. McKenna proved to be a principal who understood the virtues of _____.
