Early Life
Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli (the future Pope Pius XII) was born in Rome, Italy, on March 2, 1876. His parents were Filippo Pacelli and the former Donna Virginia Graziosi, and he was the second of their four children.
