Electronic warfare involves any military campaign or action that uses electromagnetic energy to attack, cripple, or destroy an enemy’s combat capability. The electronic warfare arsenal includes weapons such as laser-guided bombs and satellite reconnaissance that can thwart an enemy’s electronic attack and defense system by jamming electronic signals, which renders them unintelligible.
