The Story:
As Vladimir and his warrior retinue feasted in celebration of Lyudmila’s marriage, the amorous bridegroom Ruslan plucked at his mustache and waited impatiently for the ceremonies to end. Just as uneasy were his rivals Rogday, Farlaf, and Ratmir, who sat brooding over their love for Lyudmila and their hatred of Ruslan.
