I would like to compare Faulkner's Emily with T.Williams Maggie in Cat and Blanche in Streetcar.

I'm fond of metaphors.I would like to write about comparing,contrasting and metaphors.I don't have a good EFFECTIVE THESIS STATEMENT.Can you help me finding one?
