    Rhyme (again/infection)
    Rhythm (line length + cadence)
    Repetition (of "it")
    Irony (by trying to avoid illness/death in the letter, those who refused it helped cause death)
    Interpretation: It almost says what it means. I couldn't send the letter, so here it is. I couldn't get anybody to bring it back to you, because they were afraid of catching the plague.
