Love is like a dynamic character in Romeo & Juliet. It goes through many changes and is dramatized in several ways. Love is first seen as lustful in both Sampson and Gregory's conversation, and that between Juliet and her Nurse. Romeo's first experience with love is actually one of infatuation. He obsesses over Rosaline. We also see love as an approved and hoped for union. Juliet's family would like her to marry Paris. Finally, we see love as forbidden in the relationship between Romeo and Juliet.
