Posted by pohnpei397 on Monday October 19, 2009 at 7:21 AMI assume the "truth" you are referring to is the fact that Juliet is not really dead after she drinks the potion provided by Friar Laurence in Act IV.
If so, please note that it is in Act V that Romeo is actually prevented from finding out the truth.
In Act V, we find out that Friar John was supposed to go to Mantua and tell Romeo what's going on. But he is prevented from doing so because the city authorities are afraid he might carry the plague and they quarantine his horse. Because of this mischance, Romeo believes Juliet is truly dead.
