Topic: Do you think Browning's "Home Thoughts From Abroad" reflects how soldiers in Iraq might feel about their country?

Awsome question...... I think it does but I want to here your opinion and why you think the way that you do.......

I think it could reflect how soldiers feel, yes.  Whenever one is away from home for an extended period of time, one's thoughts inevitably turn to home and the comforts it offers him or her.  Home is one's respite, one's comfort. I think that is even more so the case for soldiers because they must go away to foreign lands because they are told to do so, not by choice.  It is their job to do so.  When things are traumatic, one's thoughts would also tend to drift towards being home more often, as well.
