The Return of the Native | Adaptations

Although the novel lends itself to cinematic representation, especially the early scenes on Guy Fawkes Day, comparatively few efforts have been made to capture The Return of the Native cinematically. The novel was dramatized for staging in 1920 by the Dorchester Players, an amateur group.
