How does a short-term budget help you achieve a long-term goal?

    In some cases , a short-term budget doesnt help you achieve a long-term goal. But in the cases that it is succesful in the endeavor it is due to well-thought out planning. Taking steps in the present will assure success in the future provided the correct actions are taken.  To illustrate examples of successful budgeting see attached link
