    you see, passion of ideas, obsession in things or obesity in people could be a bad thing.. Robespiere claimed that, passion of ideas is a significant triger of the french revolution which leads to suffering.. obsesion in things as we can see in the novel is how pyle and fowler is so obsessed with phuong's body, they were craving for more sex, they fight, and pyle of the must suffer an embarrasing death while fowler must suffer the guilt... while obesity in people leads to suffering because the cholesterol level in body is out of balance, this could cause death you know!
