What are some themes for the book "The PIgman" in the form of a proverb..?

My English Teacher assigned us a homework project about "The Pigman."

She told us to construct a story outline which includes a theme but as a proverb.

I'm having trouble trying to think of any proverbs to match this book or to match any of the conflicts that go on in this novel...

If someone can help in any way I would appreciate it.Thankyou

    Hey My name is andy and i am 12 years old and i am really in grade 8 but i read the book and if u read properly *cough* *cough ;) then you wud kno becuz it says the theme on page 161 :

    "that was the secret--don't have any spare time. Watch the little things in life, the ones you have control over."

    i was looking for a theme too since i hav this book presentation about the pigman too :P i hope im not too late :S and i hope my answer helped :)
