Architecture, Real Estate
The Staatliches Bauhaus founded at Weimar by German architect Walter Gropius of 1911 "curtain wall" fame combines two art schools in a revolutionary center that interrelates art, science, technology, and humanism. Artist Lyonel Feininger is among those who accept Gropius's invitation to join the Bauhaus, which will move to a new Gropius-designed building at Dessau in 1925 and continue until 1933 (see 1937).
