Right now my hobbies include following my son around, a senior in high school, to all of his senior athletic events and my following my daughter, a sixth grader, around to all of her gymnastic and cheerleader events. Othter than that I love to read books, relax and watch tv, go to the mountains and the beach!!
Biography
I was born and raised in a small town. I also went to school in a small town not far from my hometown where my father taught school and coached athletics and was also the principal. I know teach 5th grade at the same school I graduated from. I am always looking for ways to bring new ideas into my classroom, especially in reading! I get so tired of reading the same basal reading stories (even though we are not supposed to deviate!)and love to liven up my classroom with chapter books!!
