Biography

I've been teaching, in one capacity or another, for the last 12 years. Most of my experience involves working with nontraditional students, adults, and those marginalized by our educational system. The most important requirement that I have for investing myself as a teacher is being somewhere that I feel really useful...that's my favorite thing about eNotes. I have an associate's degree in arts, a bachelor's degree in English and history, and a master's degree in education. I also hold a professional teaching certificate and am "highly qualified" in the subjects I teach.
