Bio
Bowdoin class of '73 Ph.D. from U. Penn '84 I was born and grew up in Maine, and have been teaching for 30 years. I've been the English Department Chair at a private boarding school in Massachusetts (started teaching there in 1978). I'm divorced, have three "kids" (35, 29, 24). I live in a house surrounded by woods on all sides--don't have a neighbor for a mile in any direction, and I like it that way!
