Bio
I earned my BA from Eastern Kentucky University in 2001 in Speech Communications and Theatre Arts with a minor in English. I was active in several productions at the school and served as president of Alpha Psi Omega (an honorary theatre fraternity) my senior year. In 2005, I earned my MA (again from EKU) in English with an emphasis in creative writing. I have taught high school grades 10-12, including AP courses; I have also served as department chair at one of my schools. I have also taught college freshman courses in English.
