Bio
Erik M. Francis has been an educator for thirteen years. He started his career teaching middle school language arts and eventually became a high school English teacher instructing courses in literature and language, Advanced Placement English Language, Newspaper, and Journalism. After ten years in the classroom, Mr. Francis became a middle and high school administrator overseeing curriculum and courses from the College Board Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs. Mr. Francis currently works for the Arizona Department of Education as the principal of the department's Advanced Placement Online program and training teachers in English Language Development and Structured English Immersion for English Language Learners. Mr. Francis is highly trained in Advanced Placement English Language and Advanced Placement English Literature, differentiated instruction, the multiple intelligences, Six Traits Writing, Kagan Cooperative Strategies, and Structured English Immersion (SEI).
