I enjoy reading, gardening, travel, genealogy, and cooking, especially baking; I collect cookbooks. My favourite poem is "Paradise Lost" by John Milton. 17th-century British poetry is my favourite era. I love everything Shakespeare. I have adopted 1 cat from a shelter and rescued 2 from bad homes.

I hold a Master of Arts in English Literature. I also have a BA in English with a history minor and an AA in Business Management. I teach English classes at the college level.
