Bio

I am originally from Ohio, but attended college and now live in Michigan. I earned a Ph.D. in English from Michigan State, specializing in Medieval and Renaissance literature. Because I taught for over twenty years at a small liberal arts college, however, I am well-versed in literature from all eras. I'm a recently retired but I still greatly enjoy working with students as they developed their skills in reading and writing about literature. In addition, I write about literature for several different publishers, and am happy when I hear that what I've written has helped students reach a greater understanding of what they're reading.
