Biography

I was born in Reno, Nevada and I have lived in Nevada, Oregon, California, and Washington. In addition, I have traveled extensively throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada. My three children were born between 1980 and 1987 and are currently living in Oregon and California. They are my pride and joy! I am a sixth grade teacher of Language Arts, Social Studies, Technology, and Art. Occasionally, I teach Science. At my school we have a teaching garden and that is always lots of fun. For fun I like to write, garden, draw, read, walk, and sleep. I'd have to say sleeping is my favorite hobby, I do so little of it. Also, I have a small bakery in my home and bake delicious,decadent cookies. YUM! My retirement plan is to have a little cookie bakery and just bake all day. JOY!
