Biography
I live on beef cattle/horse farm on a dirt road in southern Missouri. I actually live just down the road from where I grew up, which is wonderful. Growing up on a farm harbored in me a great love of the outdoors. I am the single mommy of an amazing 9-year-old little girl. We have a great time together. She helps me in the garden, with the horses, and doing pretty much everything. We love to joke, read, and play together. I teach English I, II, and English III in a town of about 2,500. My mother is a teacher, and I swore I would never teach; I may have jinxed myself, but I'm glad I did. I have always loved reading and writing. My favorite author is probably Pearl S. Buck, although it is extremely difficult to choose!
