I love swimming, being with my granddaughter, going to movies, reading ( I loved all of the Harry Potter books), animals ( I have three dogs and four cats.) I enjoy sharing what I know with young people, and usually I learn something new in the process.
Biography
I taught for 31 years in the public schools in Oklahoma and ten years at the college level. I taught honors English and public speaking. I have three masters degrees: counseling, English, and Reading Specialist. I taught in a junior college. My classes included Comp I , Comp II, and Public Speaking. After an accident and breaking my ankle, foot, and collar bone, I have retired. But teaching is in my blood...any time I hear Poe, Stevenson, Atwood, etc., my blood pressure rises.
