Znaniecki, Florian

Znaniecki, Florian (1882–1959)
Born in German-occupied Poland, Znaniecki was one of the first Polish professors of sociology, initiating the Polish Institute of Sociology and the Polish Sociological Review. This was developed in his later books, Cultural Reality (1919) and Social Relations and Social Roles (1965).
