Was a film made of "Once in a Lifetime" by Kaufman & Hart?

I belong to an Amateur Theatre group and we want to do a production of the above play and I have not been able to find a film copy of the play. I understand that it is about the coming of the 'Talkies' to America

    Yes. A film was released by Universal in 1932. Directed by Russell Mack, it was indeed about Hollywood at the time of the introduction of talking movies.
