Summary
This section opens with a long speech by the Chorus that celebrates the powers of humanity but warns that justice and the gods are mightier.

After this meditation, Antigone enters, accompanied by a sentry. The Sentry immediately announces that she’s been caught burying the body of Polynices, and asks for Creon.
