Question:
Odysseus found his true place in life from the many conflicts he encountered allowing him to change and become a dignified leader.
I need to know how he wasn't a dignified leader then how he changed into a dignified leader.

Throughout Odysseus' adventures he lead his men into dangerous situations, hence him not being the ultimate leader. For example, when him and his men encounter the Cyclopes. It was his quick witted ability to lead his men out of sticky situations that lead him to actually be a good leader.
