Before engaging in conflict with the French, Edward has to deal with the rebellious Scots, who have captured the Countess of Salisbury. When he frees her, he falls in love with her. She says that she will submit to the King only if he has his Queen and her husband Salisbury murdered. Edward agrees, but the Countess was only testing him, and now insists that...
