Caius, Dr,a French physician in Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor . Kent in King Lear makes a reference to ‘your servant Caius’ (v. iii. 283). Neither character appears to carry any allusion to the real life Dr John Caius , refounder of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
