Yamoyden
Yamoyden, poem in six cantos on the wars of King Philip, written by J.W. Eastburn and R.C. Sands, published in 1820. It is based upon a cursory knowledge of Hubbard's Narrative of the Indian Wars and similar studies, but the Puritans are depicted as wholly wrong, the Indians as wholly right. The work was extremely popular and inaugurated a new literary subject.
