Untermeyer, Jean Starr
Untermeyer, Jean Starr( 1886–1970),a poet known for Steep Ascent (1927) and other volumes, marked by a simple austerity that has been termed “classically Hebraic.” Her poems are collected in Love and Need (1940). Private Collection (1965) is an autobiography. She was married to Louis Untermeyer.
