Rascoe, [Arthur] Burton
Rascoe, [Arthur] Burton( 1892–1957),critic, editor, and columnist, whose books include Theodore Dreiser (1925), A Bookman's Daybook (1929), Titans of Literature (1932), Prometheans (1933), and Belle Starr (1941), a biography of a Southwest “Bandit Queen.” The Smart Set Anthology (1934) collects material from the magazine. Before I Forget (1937) and We Were Interrupted (1947) are autobiographies.
