Panic
Panic,verse play by MacLeish, produced and published in 1935. A Note on the Verse explains the intention to accommodate the verse to characteristic American speech rhythms by the use of lines of five accents but unlimited syllables, and, in the case of crowd effects, of similar lines of three accents.
