Eastburn, James Wallis
Eastburn, James Wallis( 1797–1819),born in England, was brought to New York (1803), graduated from Columbia (1816), and became a clergyman of the Protestant Episcopal Church in Virginia. He collaborated with R.C. Sands in writing Yamoyden (1820), a romantic poem about King Philip's War, and was the author of several hymns.
