Eagle, The; or Dartmouth Centinel
Eagle, The; or Dartmouth Centinel ( 1793–99),country newspaper of Hanover, N.H., which had a distinctly literary character. During its first two years, many of the contributions came from Joseph Dennie and Royall Tyler. After 1796 it became an unimportant local journal.
