Cambridge Platform
Cambridge Platform,basic statement of New England Congregationalism until the adoption of the Saybrook Platform (1708) in Connecticut. The Cambridge Platform was drafted by Richard Mather, amended and adopted by a church synod at Cambridge (1648), and printed as A Platform of Church-Discipline (1649).
