Nothing but the Truth | Social Sensitivity
There is little in Nothing but the Truth that is not socially sensitive; it is about highly emotional issues. It would be easy to point out the issues of patriotism in schools and what respect should be shown to the national anthem, but these are not the central issues of Nothing but the Truth. Nor is the destruction of teacher's career the center of the novel, even though it is a common issue and speaks to the fears of teachers in an age when teachers receive little public support for their work.
