The two recreational facilities at New York University are the Coles Sports and Recreation Center and Palladium Athletic Facility. Both Coles and Palladium have state-of-the-art facilities with fully equiped gyms and rock climbing walls.

Coles is where NYU Varsity home games are held for all sports except for ones requiring a field (ie Soccor, lacross). Club and intramural sports hold meets and meetings here as well. It also contains a swimming/diving pool, fencing salle, racquetball and tennis courts, dance studio, and five multipurpose courts (mainly used for basketball and volleyball). Coles also has a track on the roof with batting cages and tennis courts in the middle.

Palladium contains many of the facilities Coles has including basketball courts, swimming pools used by the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Team, and various work out rooms. Palladium is also a dorm with a dining hall and houses the Wasserman Career Development center.

Both facilites are free to all NYU students and host a variety of classes students can take to keep in shape.
