Tips to Succeed at NYU
Choose classes that interest you.
Never willingly sign up for an 8 a.m. class—you’ll probably oversleep at least once.
Research professors before taking their classes. NYU has its own link with student evaluations, available through your NYU e-mail account.
Always speak up when you feel you have been graded unfairly. All grades are subject to change.
Ask your professors for help; they don’t bite, and most of them are more than willing to help students outside of class.
To have a successful social life, be open to new people and new experiences.
Go to class. In some classes, participation counts as a large portion of your grade.
