School Spirit

Although sports are not a big school spirit factor, students are definitely proud of the NYU name. This is evident in the multitude of NYU-emblazoned T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and hats that they wear to class each day. (Either that, or they just are constantly out of clean laundry.) Students in each school at NYU have their own particular brand of pride, many of them thinking that their school is the best. At the beginning of each school year, Coles Sports Center hosts a competition between all the NYU schools to see who has the most athletic prowess. Events include volleyball, basketball, ping pong, and foosball.
