Did you know you can get on the roof of the Washington
Square brownstones? Not that I did that, but I had some adventures skipping about on snowy slippery surfaces, making snow angels, and fleeing imagined sounds. I wish there had been more productive photography than the two of these shots.
I had planned to race at the Columbia Criterium around Grant's Tomb on Saturday, then fly out of JFK to San Francisco. Thirteen inches of snow the night before the race had a very different idea about my plans, however, so with the cycling team's trip canceled, I hoppd on the Fung Wah and eight hours later landed on Laura's doorstep for a day and night of vegan cupcakes, dinner, and oh, yeah - giving up veganity. You're welcome. It was St. Patrick's day, too. Kristin and I saw Irishmen and spanish painters at the Met.
