    When Rosicky was a tailor in London and struggling to make ends meet, two strangers assured to help him across to New York. One of them was a Bohemian who ran a Bohemian newspaer in New York and the other man was a wealthy businessman who was in the importing business. They offered to pay for his passage to America.  This was how 'neighbour Rosicky' arrived in the United States.
